DEBUTOLOGY: from 2012, a great DEBUT year, to 2013, the second difficult one
Hello fellow Debutologists, after a short break we’re back!
First of all, a big big THANK YOU to everyone who have visited DEBUTOLOGY so far: 2012 was our DEBUT year and your response was beyond any expectations, even if we already knew that a lot of people love, collect and study Debut Works, First Issues and Number 1s and understand how relevant and important are for artists and enterprises.
And for 2013, our “second difficult year”, we have a lot of new ideas and programs: throughout the year you’ll find not only the usual reviews of debut works and “firsts”, but also a lot of new stuff.
First news, we’re working on introducing LISTS, and the first LIST we’re gonna publish is named “10 BANDS WHOSE DEBUT ALBUM IS ALSO THEIR BEST ONE“: you’re welcome to contribute, my dears, so feel free to send your picks or any other comments and suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
.. and speaking about LISTS, here’s the list of the 2012 Debutology 5 Most Visited Posts:
- TALKING HEADS – 77 (debut album)
- LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – LOSING MY EDGE (debut single)
- 24 – Season 1
- INTERPOL – TURN ON THE BRIGHT LIGHTS (debut album)
- THE VIRGIN SUICIDES – SOFIA COPPOLA (debut movie)
